This belt is made in zamak, which is an alloy of copper and zinc with 2 micron bath in silver 925, obviously nickel and lead free, this guarantee it won't give you any problem of allergy and won't tarnish.
To close there is a hook.
To adjust the size you can remove part of the chain, or even one coin bead, with a pointy plier that opens the rings of the chain, and a flat point one to close them.
